ELAC Calendar

Welcome to ELAC! What is ELAC?

The English Learner Advisory Committee, ELAC, is established to promote a meaningful connection with the parents of English learner students (EL) at the school site.Every school with 21 or more EL students must offer the opportunity to establish an ELAC.  The purpose of the ELAC is to advise the principal and school staff on programs and services for English learners and the School Site Council on the development of the Single School Plan for Student Achievement.

 

 

!Bienevidos a ELAC!  ¿Qué es ELAC?

Se establece el Comité Consultivo para los Aprendices de Ingles, ELAC, para fomentar una conexión comprensible entre la escuela y los padres de familia de alumnos, aprendices de inglés (EL).Cada escuela con 21 o más alumnos EL, tiene que ofrecer la oportunidad de establecer un ELAC.  El propósito del comité (ELAC) es el de aconsejar al director/a y personal de la escuela acerca de los programas y servicios para alumnos identificados EL y al Concilio Escolar (SSC*) en el desarrollo del Plan Escolar Único para el Aprovechamiento Académico de los Estudiantes (SPSA*).
