Title:  ROP Medical Technologies        Course #:  5512                Number of Credits:  10

 

This course consists of scientific concepts, theories and skill development for students interested in biology, anatomy and health care technology.  It is designed to follow biology or another life science related class.  Course will provide the student with a solid base of knowledge and skills in human health sciences, in which college or advanced training is expected.  This course provides an in-depth study of medical terminology, physiology and anatomy with emphasis on the human being.  Related lab activities are an integral part of this course.  Chemistry, lab analysis, radiology and other diagnostics will be used as investigative tools to compare and contrast the well human verses the diseased human.
