Welcome to the official Pájaro Valley High School website. PVHS was established in 2004 with 500 students in the freshmen class. The students and staff moved into the present location in 2005, adding another class of 500.  Each year the school added another class and in 2008 those first freshmen had become seniors – the first graduating class!

At Pájaro Valley High School we strive to maintain a vision of learning that is shared by students, teachers, parents, and community. We recognize we are part of a community with diverse interests and needs. Each of us is responsible for a code of ethics reflecting trustworthiness, respect, fairness, caring, and citizenship.

Parents and students: The beginning of the 2010-11 school year is coming fast! Although Summer has not yet come to an end, the Administration and Staff of Pajaro Valley High School would like  provide you with some information that will help to make the start of the new school year safe and exciting.

1. There have been some changes made to the school calendar and the daily bell schedule (please see the daily bell schedule and school calendar posted in the Parents Section of the web site.) .The first day of the 2010-11 school year is Monday, August 23rd. The school day begins promptly at 8:05 am and ends at 2:35 pm. All students will receive their schedules from their advisory instructors on Monday, August 23rd, the first day of school. Class lists will be posted all over campus for students to find their advisory class.
2. The district wide collaboration day has been changed from Tuesday to Wednesday! As a result, Wednesdays will be early release days with the school day beginning promptly at 8:05 and ending at 12:35. 7th period will not be held on collaboration Wednesdays.

The Administration and Staff are eager to welcome all of our students back to Pajaro Valley High School!
